This was a great apartment, and quite possibly the best we've stayed at on this trip. Here are the reasons we liked this apartment: The air conditioning worked great, even in october (when many places turn off A/C, without telling you..). They had A/C in both bedrooms, and in the living room. The apartment was very very clean. The shower was completely enclosed. There was lots of extra bedding (pillows, blankets, etc). There were shutters on all the windows for total darkness. The internet worked great. The owner was friendly, and helped us with several things. The apartment is very easily walkable to town (pastries, butcher, bakery, grocery, cafe, etc), without being directly in the center. The apartment entrance, and the parking was private behind a closed gate, which was nice. There was construction across the street, but the house was built well enough that the noise didn't bother us.

Great stay—the apartment furniture/vibe is a bit dated, but it was clean, felt quite spacious, had a great air-conditioner, reliable WiFi, all the kitchen amenities, etc. It was a very comfortable place to stay. The building was also safe and secure, and the owner had a safe, secure spot to store my bicycle as well. The owner himself deserves a special mention in this review. His welcome was just memorably warm in a simple way. He has a kind smile and demeanor, helped me carry my bicycle bags inside, and was available and responsive to help me check out early. Thank you!
