Self-Catering Accommodations in Banyuwangi

The location is perfect, 5 min walk from the port, 2 min from the train station. A lot of street food choices around. The staff was absolutely lovely. I had booked a female dorm but they gave me a couple other choices. Eventually, I had a private room for the same price. There is a breakfast option for 25.000. It is delicious and very filling. Free coffee and tea.

Fantastic hosts, very kind and extremely helpful. They even lent me suitable shoes for the walk. Highly recommended.

Besides being a very comfortable accommodation the staff at Ijen Haus were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged at the last moment for me to join a group to visit the Ijen Crater. When an online train ticket vendor would not accept my payment method they offered to purchase the ticket for me and I reimbursed them!

This place is amazing. Titan and her family are so kind and welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable. Titan helped us massively with organizing our onward travels, as well as organizing the Ijen tour for us (which was so good). We were treated to very tasty tea and biscuits before our Ijen tour, and were greeted with a very tasty breakfast after the tour. We were even picked up from the train station when we first arrived. I could not recommend this place enough

its like a home.. very comfortable, the view was very nice, just need little walk from Banyuwangi Kota (BWI) Railway station (bcs its near guyss) I recommende this homestay to all of you guys🥰🫶🏻

I stayed for a few nights at this homestay, and it was just wonderful. The biggest asset is definitely the owners, Lucy and her husband — such warm, caring people. They responded to my messages right away and made me feel completely at home. Lucy cooks amazing breakfasts, always with delicious variations. When I had problems with my debit card, she went out of her way to help me get cash, offering several solutions and patiently spending her time with me. They are a beautiful young family, and their kindness really stood out. The house is very clean and well-kept. It’s not a five-star luxury resort, but it’s casual, spotless, and perfect for a few nights’ stay. Located in a local neighborhood, you’ll be surrounded by authentic life — local people, eateries, and the lively sounds of the streets. If I ever come back, I would absolutely stay with them again. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay.. the whole place is just magic

Comfortable place to stay. This business runs by a family that also living there . So it just like we are staying with the lokal. They grew some berries,corn, edamame,etc around the property and we get a chance to enjoy them. There is Warung bu Widi close by that serve delicious Indonesian foods if you need lunch and dinner. Definitely we will coming back there when we visit Banyuwangi.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Coming here to have a research of the Pangpang sea, the owner kindly invites the local fishermen to help my research. The homestay is clean and accomodating.

A private house literally all by ourselves and really close to the city center. Had a good walk and experience staying here
