Our brief stay at Shibumi felt like stepping into a perfectly curated sanctuary. Escaping the usual hustle of daily life, arriving at this villa immediately shifted our pace to a state of complete relaxation. The private pool area is an absolute dream—flawlessly maintained and completely immersed in the lush, quiet nature that Ubud is so loved for. You can easily tell that a lot of careful thought went into the property's infrastructure and design; from the excellent water pressure in the pristine shower to the inviting, fresh atmosphere of the non-smoking room. Waking up to the serene morning light filtering through the traditional architecture, while enjoying a quiet cup of coffee by the pool, was exactly the recharge needed. It’s a beautifully managed space where the subtle, high-quality details truly shine.

Everything is superb, absolutely to come back again.

I loved staying at this place. With 25 minutes from Ubud central it's definitely more quite and touristy, which was exactly what I was looking for. Agnes and Ketut (the house ladies) made sure I was warmly welcomed and made me feel at home. There is a shared kitchen were you can cook your own food, a fridge and a freezer. Would definitely come back here again in the future.

The rooms were veryy clean, spacious, and new property building with a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, whether it was arranging transport, recommending local spots, or simply greeting me with warmth every day. The location is also ideal—tucked away from the busy streets but still enough to Ubud’s center. The pool was a definite highlight, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring, had 2 different pool for adults and for the children so itsss veryyy veryyy cool for family trip i guess. I highly recommend Yama Villa & Spa Ubud to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing escape in Ubud. I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

The villa has 2 bed rooms which are all very generous size, so it gives you truly feeling of luxury & comfortable. The view is peaceful and open but very private.

This place is simply stunning. Its biggest strength is the unique combination of authentic local life with a dreamy Balinese setting. It’s located at the back of a private residence in a traditional village, so you really get a sense of everyday life in Bali — without the tourist crowds. At the same time, it opens onto a garden that looks like it’s straight out of the most exotic Instagram photos — lush greenery, terraced plants, and an absolutely magical vibe. The place is very clean, the internet is lightning fast, and the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and peaceful. However, if you’re looking for a trendy, “fancy” spot surrounded by tourists and tourist attractions, this isn’t it. This is a place for people who appreciate authenticity, local life, and natural beauty. The garden is maintained with incredible care — it’s truly breathtaking.

Everything, especially the breakfast everyday was great. The hosts were lovely and the dinner that they cooked for us was amazing. We had a very good time.

Breakfast was freshly made daily with eggs toast and fresh fruits and juice. Private spacious villa. In house massage. Host arranged all the tours and transportation and very helpful and accumulating to all our request. Villa is 5 minute walk from the car park.

A peaceful stay surrounded by rice fields. The room was clean, cozy, and easy to relax in. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evening. Good value overall and a nice option if you want to stay somewhere calm.
