They really made you feel as if you were a part of their family and took time out of their day to show me around the area and drive me to many different areas all while having really nice conversations.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Gujo if you would like to experience what it’s like to live here! With a view of Gujo Hachiman castle from the upstairs window, this house and town are simply great. Quiet, comfortable, within walking distance of what you come here to see. The owner, Masahiro-San, will treat you like family, and his advice about what to see and where to eat is spot on. If you cannot carry your suitcase up the steps to the upper floor, you can bring the futons downstairs and sleep on the heated floor. We came here with another couple and we all loved this house and Gujo. Ask Masa-San to pick you up at the station, if he can he will! The great reviews are very deserving, if you like Japanese style living you will like Nomad Inn. The 6 am. temple bell will remind you every morning what another world it is here!

The location, the Service, amiable Host, pretty home stay! We booked the property with thought of peaceful stay and it was exactly as we had planned and dreamed of!

The location is great. The property is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The owner, Masa, was very helpful throughout both the move-in and move-out process. He even gave us a ride to the bus station, which we really appreciated.

Nice house in residential area. <5 mins to Jokamachi Plaza, 10 min walk up to castle. Very clean accommodations with very gracious host.

Fantastic location close to the heart of Gujo Hachiman. An easy walk to the Gujo Odori and all night dancing for Obon.
