Self-Catering Accommodations in Ishigaki Island

I have found my new favorite hotel chain. Pools, hot tubs, and saunas open until midnight, a restaurant and bar open all of the time. Giant room. Everything was perfect

Everything! Quiet and peaceful, not many people, no crowds.

We loved everything about the property. It was spotless, and the staff was attentive, helpful, and respectful at all times. The atmosphere was quiet, clean, and relaxing—exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend getaway.

It's an apartment. No reception, they send you codes and you go in yourself. Clean, private, quiet, very good value for what you get. MaxValu supermarket is a 15min walk away and has everything. If activities are your priority the location is a bit awkward, but for privacy and comfort it's tremendous value.

Good value and everything works smoothly here even though the check in is automatic (there's a touch display which opens the keybox automatically).

Had an amazing stay! Hostel itself is impeccably clean and beautifully designed, the owner is absolutely lovely and makes it feel like a home away from home. It’s in a quiet area really close to the beach and perfect for those who seek some quiet and authenticity :)

Located very close to everything in downtown Ishigaki, including many restaurants, the port, and cafes and shops. It was so clean, as if we were the first people to stay there. The amenities were amazing, including all of the bath products. The pajamas were a comfortable and the tub was great. The outside porch is planted up nicely and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. The tatami room was perfect for chilling out and doing yoga as well.

The room was meticulously renovated using LIXIL products, giving it a very high-quality feel. Honestly, the room facilities here were superior to the hotel I stayed at yesterday, even though that place cost twice as much! Unlike many apartment-style hotels, there were absolutely no lingering odors from previous guests. You can really tell that the maintenance and cleaning are top-notch. It was such a great experience that I would happily pay double the current price to stay here again. Highly recommended!

From arrival, Kishaba-san went out of his way to invite me to the local Kyuubon celebrations over the next few nights, and while there he introduced me to his family and a couple others. When I left to Naha and stayed at another hostel, I felt surprised by how much more comfortable and welcome I felt staying at Kishaba. Amenities are suitable, location is great, facilities are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, spacious, and private. Above all though, staying here made my trip to Ishigaki that much more memorable.

I am worried these rooms will have a mold problem in the future, but for now, they are perfect. walking distance to downtown and I can make my own meals. Everything is nice and clean and there is even coffee and laundry in the room.

The house was very clean and the amenities like the kitchen and washer/dryer were very convenient. We spent more time than planned inside the house as the weather was quite poor during our trip and it was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was also very kind and answered all the questions I had before arrival. Check in was super smooth and the bus stop is within a 3 minute walk. Convenient with the Donki nearby incase you need something!

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment not far from city center. Great alternative to the big hotels on the island, much more private. Direct bus to the airport, line 10. We stayed as a couple and found it very roomy, it might feel more crowded if you stay with more than 4 people. Kitchen has the basic stuff, but there are many nice restaurants nearby and in town, so you don’t have to cook. The city center (the market) is about 10-15 minutes walk, the Port with the ferries to the other islands is 5 minutes more. We didn’t meet the owner/manager, everything was done online. Communication was prompt and clear.

staff was super accommodating and helpful in responding to my requests. i loved the location and how much space for the price. the beds were extremely comfortable and the sauna in the shower was a huge perk

The location is beautiful and located close to the airport and port. Great for the family. Having the restaurant below was amazing and nice to come back from tours to the promise of a great meal.
