We loved having the whole place to ourselves, including a kitchen. The views in autumn were breathtaking. And we really enjoyed the sauna as well.

Comfortable house that had more room than we needed. Host was gracious and generous with welcome gifts. Communication was good. Local maps and guides were available.

Super convenient, wish we could stay longer, next time will bring grocery to cook good meals for us. Lawson is only five minutes away. Great location! Sauna is a wonderful surprise!

The owners are so lovely, it was a really nice experience. I had just finished a 3 day hike and was exhausted so the mum made me a delicious Bento box for dinner. The living space is very spacious and light, it felt very relaxing in there. The communal kitchen and bathroom area is also very spacious and has everything you would need.

Traditional house is very interesting. Japanese style beds were quite comfortable. Kitchen was extremely well appointed. Bathrooms and showers easily accessible and had necessary toiletries. Staff was really kind. One staff even drove in the car with me to show me where to find their parking spaces. The host was super in letting us change dates on a non-cancelable reservation. Huge old house in a little village up the hill but newly renovated with fully equipped function like staying at home. Host is really nice and warmed welcome even we arrived late. Breakfast is superb. All organic vegetables grown in village. All the dishes are home cooked. Homemade miso for soup is so delicious that we asked the host to buy some.

The cozy and private location in the mountains with a very clear view of sunset as the ground on the hill was facing west! The accommodation had everything we wished to enjoy in outdoor, such as for bbq, table and chairs, also the cute kotatsu for relaxing and planning the following days of traveling. The host was really kind with her warm hospitality. We enjoyed interaction with her as well as the cute idol cat Sei-chan! It was the best place I ever experience to stay in a local area of Japan and feel so lucky and greatful to find this place!
