I had an incredible stay. The staff were beyond friendly and went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. Not only was the room impeccably clean, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend

I had an amazing stay at Ella Green Villa! The place is exceptionally neat and clean, very close to Ella town, and feels completely safe — perfect for solo travelers. The villa truly feels like home, the food is absolutely delicious, and the hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ella! This was a gem of a find! Many hotels and guest houses describe themselves as an “oasis”. This is the first time we would describe a property as a true oasis. You feel perfectly alone in the forest. You hear no street noise. You return each evening to a location of pure comfort and to the sounds of a flowing river. The cabin is well laid-out, and even above the standard for most Canadian cabins. My husband, child (4-years-old), mother and I stayed here for just over a week. The food was prepared by very skilled hands and so delicious! They were able to fully accommodate my husband’s gluten-free needs. They were very attentive to our general needs as well (I.e. carrying our large luggage, guidance on local spots to visit and travel options). Beyond that, they were kind and generous. Wish we could have stayed longer! Our most important recommendation: Take up the all inclusive option (meals). We only had breakfast and supper since each was a feast beyond any offering we have experienced before. Unbelievable value.

What I like most about the property is the calm atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. I also liked the garden and the view. The staff were friendly, and the place felt warm and welcoming.

Loved the property - the location was a dream. The view from the bedroom was incredible. The hosts gave us huge breakfasts which we enjoyed on the balcony watching an amazing view. Shower was a little weak and there are difficult stairs to climb but this was all worth the view. The host helped us carry our bags up and down and were very helpful. Highly recommend.

The sweetest and most welcoming hosts. Hostel is very well located, just outside of the busy and noisy city center but only 5 minutes walking distance, easy to access. Delicious breakfast. Super clean room and bathroom. Nice view of tea plantations from the terrace. I highly recommend. Thank you for also helping me out with the police station 🙏🏻

The beautiful gentle welcome and hosting of the monks. So kind and thoughtful and attentive. Gorgeous huge breakfast of fruit and sweet coconut filled pancakes and omelettes and toast. Quietness but really nice walk shirt to Ella along the train tracks one way and to the waterfall views the other way. Stunning morning sunrise views. Private balcony area. Peace and tranquillity. Family friendly rooms and made welcome. It was very wonderful for us having access to small kitchen to cater for v specific food needs. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Lovely hostel in Ella located close to main street but still quiet. Close to train station (walking distance), very clean and delicious breakfast. Sameera was very helpful in providing directions to my next destination. Loved the hammock and other sitting areas.

This accommodation is wonderful. The views are spectacular, you can wake to watch the sunrise. The owners are unbelievably helpful and could not have been better, from serving the most fantastic breakfast each morning - each day a different offering to organizing laundry service and taxis. The location is away from the craziness of the main drag in Ella, but cheap and quick into town if needed. There is a local restaurant but we also had dinner at the accommodation two of the evenings which was wonderful. Couldn't recommend it enough.

This accomodation recently opened and the room is very comfortable and clean. There is a minifridge, coffee and tea station, mosquito net and a rain shower. Breakfast is served every morning with a very nice view. De staff is extremely kind and helpfull and really made our stay. De location is very good too: near the Nine Arches Trail and Little Adams Peak and easy to walk to the restaurants/bars or get a tuktuk. We would recommend this place to everyone!

I liked the cleanliness of the property, the comfortable and well maintained rooms. And also Mr.Chandika, the owner of this property very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious 😊 This is the best place to stay in Ella area. Highly recommended.

This is an absolutely beautiful place with an unfettered view for 180° of the mountains, a waterfall + jungle and agricultural Fields. The pictures do not do it justice. The host is super friendly and responsive and the staff at the accommodation are wonderful. A particular shout out to Arul for all his hard work to make our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast every morning is varied and served on your private balcony. Doesn't get much better than this!

The room is big and the view was exceptional. It's a small walk from the city center, but worth it for the amazing scenery. We were only able to stay one night, but the family who owns the hotel was so nice and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and offered to take us back to town in their tuktuk later that evening. We had a wonderful time here! We would love to stay again.

A little seating arrangement on the porch with a view of the garden (it felt like being in the jungle :-) ) An interested and caring host The breakfast was rich and very tasteful - it mixed elements from continental with traditional Sri Lankan - interesting, freshly prepared with care.
