This property fit our needs PERECTLY. It is quite rustic but is a completely authentic woolshed that was historically used for shearing sheep. The apartment is a walled off corner in the larger shearing shed. We were able to make great use of the extra covered space in the shed for repacking our tramping gear while enjoying the comfort of the well-appointed apartment. Some travelers who are expecting Five Star accommodation are likely to be put off by farm odors and somewhat dated fixtures. We felt blessed to experience the inherent authenticity of the property. We could not have been more pleased with our experience.

Located just 350-yards from the Owen River, guests enjoy an onsite bar and restaurant at Owen River Tavern & Motels. All studios boast mountain views and a flat-screen TV.
