Vetea is a very welcoming, friendly and big-hearted host - we had a great experience. The house is really spacious and has all the amenities you need for a peaceful stay. Greatly equipped kitchen, the relaxing spot with hammocks, the possibility to borrow kayaks and snorkeling gear, remote and tranquil location, spectacular sunsets. This is a great place to slow down and enjoy the authentic island life. The shops are far, so you'll definitely need a vehicle for transport. One of the highlights - to paddle on kayak to the nearby beach bar and have a drink by the sunset. All in all - highly recommended! Mauruuru roa, manuia :)

Our hosts were amazing. Everything was great. I loved the large bathroom and the washing machine.

We loved the quiet surroundings, pool and ability to rent a car from the owners. Owners, Alain and Jean-Luc are very friendly and ready to share information on the island. They recommended a lagoon tour company that far exceeded our expectations. There were consistent breezes blowing plus an over the bed fan keeping us cool.

Interesting blend of high-style and funky Polynesian bungalow. Kitchen and "living room" outside under the roof and in the breeze, bedroom and bathroom inside. Set in a huge garden area with another (duplex) unit, all the privacy you could ask for. One of the best snorkeling beaches on the island just a few minutes down the road. Short of being on the water, this is an almost perfect location. Rental car available on the property. BTW, whether you know it or not, you really, really want a car on Huahine.

The rooms were air-conditioned, clean and well appointed. We were greeted by beautiful people. They were flexible with our time.

The cottage was nicely situated and had what we needed for our stay. The hostess was quick at responding to messages and proactive. We loved our stay! The 300m to get to the property fron the road is full of land crabs which adds to the fun.

Everything was a dream. We had a great stay and we loved the bungallow and the garden! Its remote, but close to the main road, and the scooter is perfect to explore the island. The hosts are very welcoming and ready to help with everything you need!

Had the most amazing stay! Cute house with a beautiful garden and the ocean right in front of it! Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy your vacation :)

We really enjoyed our stay so much, from the many amenities such as a full kitchen and access to kayaks on the waterfront property to meeting our host Lysbeth! Lysbeth was so friendly, greeted us warmly at the airport and gave us a proper island welcome with flowers. 😊 We also appreciated that she organized our transport and rental car for us and helped us locate additional supplies and services when we needed them. We also enjoyed meeting and spending time with other travelers in the common spaces (kitchen, salon, terrace, beach). There was plenty of water, coffee and beautiful fresh fruit available to us during our stay, as well as a fun bookshelf to browse. The WIFI worked really well. Great location on the bay. We definitely recommend a car or bicycles for this stay, as it is not within walking distance of the main town or airport.
