It was a nice big apartment and the owner was really nice and easy to work with.

Incredible property, easy and private ocean access. Long private beach with large shallow pool in front for swimming. Snorkeling just beyond that. Kayaks provided for paddle to public atol (motu) nearby. Lots of Snorkeling around the motu as well. Owner met us at airport with rental car. Owner gave a book full of local tourism information, restaurant recommendations, etc. She spent an hour with us getting us settled in and oriented. The home is perfectly maintained and spotless clean. Fresh flowers everywhere. Well appointed kitchen, super bathroom with big walk-in shower. Very comfortable bed. A/C works great. This is a great find.

Location: it is right on the water, and in the far distance, you can see the area where the Marae Taputapuatea is located. There is a canoe available to use (2 adults) for free. There is an island you can paddle out to but we didn't do that because of a lack of time. You can swim in the water in front of the accommodation. The dining and kitchen area face out over the water - great for watching the sun set. The owner contacted a tour company late on a Saturday so that my family could visit Tahaa for the day. The company sent a taxi to pick/drop us off. You can wash your clothes (user pays), and hang them out on a line in the car porch at the side of the accommodation. If you were fit, you could walk to the local food store. We hired a car from Raiatea, so shopped in the main part of town. Ask if you can try some of the fruit on the trees of the accommodation - I wish we had! The hosts were very friendly. Nice lounge area. Excellent information sent out about how to locate the accommodation: professionally done. The owners don't tend to the money (outside agency does..and they were very accommodating). You can lock a room but not the accommodation. (I'm too much of a town person so think about that stuff). The accommodation is about an hour's trip to the marae Taputapuatea, the area also has opening hours for the parking area; remember you can't walk on the stone structures. Nice lounge area. The property was so spacious and inviting! It was clean and had all of the amenities needed, Air conditioner was super nice to have.

The location by the water is amazing and quiet. The property is spacious. Everything was clean, modern and functional. The hosts were very kind and made us welcome home :)

Can't say enough good things. Johnny was an amazing host and this spot is right on the water with a beautiful view of Huahine. There are kayaks you can use to paddle over to the small island or upriver. I loved meeting Johnny's sweet mum and this is really a way to experience life in Ra'iatea. Johnny gave me a custom tour of the island. Bring mosquito repellent, as they are plentiful on the island. A net was provided, so I slept well.
