Lovely property with a very nice communal atmosphere. Host Maud is really kind and helpful. We stayed inside the main building and were very very comfortable, got some of our best sleeps in French Polynesia! Great hangout area & kitchen had everything you need for basic cooking. We loved staying here!

We enjoyed Yannick, and his boating tour. The facilities were as expected with exception of the very prevalent sound of traffic. I expected something very rustic and sort of like camping, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was much nicer than that. Don't come here if you're expecting a five star resort. Do go to experience being on the water, and the beautiful sunset.

The kitchen was very organized, the shower and rooms were very clean. I loved how the floors felt walking around barefoot. I enjoyed the shared space while still having privacy with the wall and curtain. By this point in the trip, I was used to the roosters and occasional dogs. I found the location to be very home-like, comforting, peaceful. I slept great and made new friends! The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions I had. I would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay and Chantal, the host, was very kind and helped with car rental, snorkeling gear, laundry etc. the kitchen is fully equipped so it was a pleasure to cook meals every night. The pool was nice too! Location is quite good, although there is no beach withon walking distance- you will need a car or scooter regardless of what you plan to do (unless you want to stay in).

This place was awesome! I was a little hesitant to book because of the small number of reviews but, now that we have stayed, I realize it is because it is new. I am so glad that we didn't pass up the opportunity! It is adorable; small but, because of a large front porch, actually feels spacious. Furnishings and decor provide a warm welcoming feel. The view is undersold in the description. It was described as a small view of Cooks Bay but is actually a fabulous view of both mountains and the bay. We really enjoyed the outdoor space! Multiple markets, places to eat, and ATM machine all within a couple of miles. 10 min drive to the beach. The host, Canelle, is amazing; helpful with anything you need. Just one note if you stay and plan to cook, there is an induction cooktop and pots are provided but there is no microwave. Also, a general note about the area, in both Papeete and Moorea, local currency is often required for payment for accommodation and we did not find it easy to get cash from the ATM machines. We finally figured out that, even if your bank doesn't have a maximum withdraw limit for you, the local ATM machines do and will deny your transaction but not tell you why. We were only able to withdraw 200-300 per day so you will probably want to make withdraws everyday until you get everything you need. If we are lucky enough to go back to Moorea, we will definitely plan our trip when Aimeho Bungalow is available!

Amazing place tucked in the jungle,secluded and safe. Very green,nice small pool and full of wildlife.

Wonderful bungalow in an big garden, pretty new, very clean and furnished in a tasteful style. Kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom has a big shower. A front deck with table and chairs. Restaurants and shops nearby. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, I would come back any time!

Élodie and Renaud were incredibly kind, respectful, caring and welcoming hosts. The location is amazing. The bay of Opunahu is a stunning place to stay in Moorea, having access to the most vibrant coral reef on the island from the moment you set foot in the water (so many turtles!) This bay is where scuba divers go to dive on this island. In addition, the sunsets are absolutely amazing from this property, as the sun sets right on this bay as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as a female solo traveler and I can only hope to come back soon! Thank you Elodie and Renaud! <3

One of our favorite stays ever. Villa Vaihere has everything you could possibly want: gorgeous location with fantastic snorkeling right off the pier, kayaks, SUPs, bicycles, helmet, life jackets. It's spacious and great for up to six people. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Carole is incredibly attentive and great at communication. This is such a special place to stay, and we hope to come back someday (maybe during whale season, when whales have swum by and breached right in front of the house). Carole even let us store luggage and use the kitchen in one of the bungalows next door after check out.
