Self-Catering Accommodations in Loriga

Beautiful and peaceful location on the mountains near Serra da Estrela. Very cosy house and perfect hostess, very friendly and attending. Lots of pathways for hiking and exploring. A breath of fresh air and friendliness.

The house was almost perfect for our family stay with 2 little children. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, everything worked as expected. Insulation is good, no noise and good temperature inside (this was in June, mind you). We chose Loriga because it was close to the Parque da Serra da Estrela, a short 20-minute drive, but we didn't expect it to be so gorgeous. The house is perfectly located inside the town, easy access in and out through the main road. There is a mini market and a coffee/snack shop right in front and the side of the property, very convenient. Oh and if you have an electric car there is a (slow) EV charger up the hill.

The accommodation is well located in a small and charming village closed to the access to Serra da Estrela. The kitchen is simple but has all the necessary utensils for preparing meals. The room was tidy and the bed is very comfortable. If go by car, the particular garage is a plus :)

Loved it! Everything is brand new, host is super nice and responsive, large space, and beautiful surroundings!

House is stylish and tasteful. The pellet stove keeps the whole place remarkably comfortable. A beautiful drive to get there. The host was responsive and helpful and check on was easy.

Amazing stylish house with almost everything made in Portugal: dishes, cuttlery, wool blankets, pillows and small details made by local producer (I googled it for myself). Upstairs there is a babygate, so the stairs are safe for dogs. House has two ACs, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fireplace. But you won’t need AC in summer: because of thick stone walls it was like +18 inside when it was +30 outside :)
