The property is in a beautiful location with a garden offering views of the surrounding fields, vineyards, and mountains in the distance. The village is walkable and quiet. The house offers a sauna and garden seating, in addition to modern bathrooms and an overall cozy atmosphere.

The apartment (studio?) is in a quiet village, on a quiet street, and it's an absolute gem. The outside looks like an old, well-maintained farmhouse, but the inside blends modern features with original accents (like exposed wood beams). The kitchen sports contemporary cabinets and a plethora of modern appliances, including the coolest kettle I've seen on my trips. There's a plethora of utensils and all that one needs for cooking, including -- a rarity -- a wall over. The beds are comfy and I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower. The AC is one of those Mitsubishi model that has a quiet mode, great for nighttime and light sleepers. The backyard has a few trees and a perfect place to put a hammock and enjoy the evening, maybe with a glass of fabulous local wines. There's a grocery store around the corner and several small restaurants in the city center. The village itself is about 20 minutes away from Trieste and the local roads are well maintained, with gorgeous vineyards and yet minimal traffic. It's about an hour, hour-and-a-half to Kranjska Gora / Triglav National Park, depending what route you take (either way the whole area is breathtaking). Ljubljana is also about an hour and a half away.
