Loved the location. The room was spacious, very clean, and had exactly what we needed. The room in A building had a partial view of the water from the balcony and the pool. The grounds were nice. I liked that there were adirondack chairs to watch the sunset. It was a simple walk down to the sand/beach area.

For my purposes -- access to the Cross Sound Ferry -- this place could not have been better located. It's modern, sparkling clean, well equipped. Wifi was fast and reliable. New, comfortable beds. Outstanding host. The property uses a digital access system so there's no need to meet the host or go to a convenience store for keys. There is only one bathroom, on the ground floor, with the bedrooms one floor up, but it was clean and worked beautifully. Convenient driveway next to the house. A real find!

The Millhouse is beautifully appointed, nothing is lacking. The location is wonderful, all is harmonious by the brook and the Chester Museum, a place of serenity and comfort, at the heart of a town of uncanny charm. We would want to stay at the Millhouse again.

The view really was spectacular! We went hoping to see a lunar eclipse. Unfortunately it was overcast but the view was so lovely we weren't even upset. The caretaker truly went above and beyond. And we didn't even go when the pool was open! (March) This honestly exceeded my expectations.
