The tent was wonderfully dark at night and blocked out all the external lights. The beds were warm and comfy as were the pillows. The fact the beds were made each morning was a huge unexpected bonus!

The entire experience was pure magic - from making the booking (professional and continuous communication) - to entering reception (where my file/reservation was ready and we were greeted by the friendliest lady) - to the unit (clean, fresh, fully equipped WOW) - and through the gardens and informative pathways. Exceeded all expectations.

Rixile Kruger Lodge is an ideal place to spend some days exploring Kruger. The location is very convenient just outside the Paul Kruger gate. Clint was the perfect host. He was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival and checked in on us each day to make sure all was ok. The excellent communication (via Booking and WhatsApp) was much appreciated, especially since we were coming from the US and taking multiple modes of transportation. We were with friends and stayed in the villa, which entailed 3 separate buildings for the bedrooms; a main building with the very well appointed kitchen and living area; a small plunge pool; a braai; and a comfortable patio with large table. The rooms were spotless and bed was extremely comfortable. The whole area was very private and the bedrooms had floor to ceiling windows. There were both indoor and outdoor showers with good water pressure. The shower in one room was kind of in the room with a glass door, so maybe hanging a nice piece of cloth or curtain would be a nice addition. As others have said, the road to the villa was slightly confusing once through the first gate, but Clint provided us detailed instructions so we found it without an issue. The lodge next door is nice for a sundowner over the river or dinner if you don’t feel like cooking. Note that unless walking over in daytime, you will need to drive. We will definitely return to Rixile if back in the area. I wish that we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Thank you, Clint!

This place is amazing. The rooms are laid out perfectly. The dining kitchen sitting area is super comfortable. The picture quite honestly don’t do it justice. The entire experience of our villa and the park were magical. We saw everything on our wish list. And nothing disappointed

The layout of the villa is open and spacious. The decor is beautiful, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The staff is friendly and helpfull. It is well situated close to the Kruger Park entrance and there are different animals to see around the villa.

The tent was very clean, the Small kitchen set was also awesome. The Air-cons kept the Tent warm even though we were there in a cold weekend, we never felt the cold.

The lodge was amazing and had everything you needed for a great get away. The kitchen, gym, study, movie room is spectacular. Was also nice to stay in a property owned by an ex-rugby legend. Nellie was the best housekeeper and she went beyond the mile to make everything comfortable and clean.
