Joseph texted us a week before, asking about our arrival time, room temperature and other things. It was very nice to get updates from him and a warm welcome. He met us at the entrance and welcomed us to the apartment. Joseph had a bottle of wine waiting for us. The accommodations are very roomy and beautifully designed. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Excellent selection of coffee and teas. We were very comfortable. The apartment is walking distance to Jaffa gate. We would love to come back.

Daniel is a man that thinks of every little detail and he didnt skip anything. It makes you feel at home when you even find a handwritten note of welcome next to a wine bottle with two cups and little sweets here and there-that the kids enjoyed to find... Toiletries complete, kitchen well equipped..very clean, nice smelling. Even if the place is not huge, Daniel made the most out of it. The location is so good, i did not realize i was next to mahane yehuda market which is a great experience that i am sorry i did not try in my former visits in Jerusalem. God bless you Daniel.

The apartment is a very unique experience, like being inside of an enchanted castle with gorgeous stonework and arched portals. It is beautifully furnished and designed with lots of books, vinyl records, artsy decorations, cool lamp fixtures, and quirky objects de arte. The sleeping area is in a lovely loft above the galleria and connected by a simple stairway. This makes for a very open environment. Also, there is wonderful little balcony and lots of windows providing great ventilation in addition to an air conditioner. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is within a short walking distance of so many wonderful restaurants, cafes, synagogues, and cultural venues. Management was exceptional - the hosts are very responsive to communications. Check-in was very simple. Not one issue. The place is slightly more expensive than some of the hotels in area. However, the experience is very unique and very yerushalmi. Also, the amount of space offers way more value for money than a hotel room. I felt part of the neighborhood rather than a tourist.
