I like the view and ambiance of the room. I loved the hospitality of the host. They even granted and went above and beyond to my request.

Our stay at Friends was the most memorable part of our trip to Jamaica! Birgit and Richard were the perfect hosts to our time in Port Antonio. We decided not to rent a car in Jamaica and arrived in the evening by shuttle. Richard was easy to get a hold of, and he picked us up a few minutes from Friends, where it was best to transfer from the van that brought us to Port Antonio. I was traveling with a friend, and we rented both apartments for ample space and to have our own comfy beds. The apartments had everything we needed and convenient items for purchase in the fridge and on the shelf, including Blue Mountain coffee, a water kettle and french press. The rooms were clean, quiet and nicely decorated with views of the lush property from the lower apartment and the most amazing, nearly 360-degree views from the upper patio. Upon request, Birgit prepared a delicious and large breakfast spread each morning with fresh fruit from their property, honey from their bees, a homemade baked item, a savory warm dish, coffee and so much more! All of which we enjoyed, slowly each morning, on their beautiful wood deck built among their blooming/fruiting trees. After breakfast, we spent our days cruising around with Richard in their capable Land Rover to all the best spots listening to some great music. We went on an excursion each day and Birgit and Richard helped us plan based on the weather and other variables. Richard drove us to dinner in town before we went back to Friends or gave us a ride later in the evening. We felt so taken care of the whole stay! We spent 4 amazing nights at Friends. I am already dreaming of my next visit!

Absolutely delightful stay! The place was pristine spotless from top to bottom and felt tucked away in the most peaceful, picturesque setting. Yet it was supremely practical: thoughtfully laid-out, well‑equipped, and comfortable. A perfect blend of serenity and functionality. Can’t wait to come back!”

I appreciate the kindness and friendly atmosphere. Also, the host was kind and approachable. All in all it feels like home a comfortable atmosphere. I also appreciate the set up for coffee or tea much appreciated. Thank you.

Very calming vibe, good location for going out and about.

The location of Robin Hood guest house met my desire to stay in the mountains of Jamaica. The hosts were full of information regarding Jamaica culture and the best places for fun....if you like to hang out with locals.
