Wonderful and friendly host couple, so welcoming and relxed. Spotless and cozy house just 2 minutes walk from downtown. Patrick made a wonderful breakfast served over 3 courses plus crepe dessert. He told us about each dish as he served them. Just an amazing treat, my favorite meal of the trip!!

We were three so each having a bed became important. The furnishings and bedding showed effort and care in selection and quality. We liked that there was a common sitting room. And we enjoyed the porch and watching the world go by outside our door. We were surprised how quiet the street became after the dinner hour. The food was incredible and the hostess was able to make us decaf coffee. We enjoyed talking with her and learning about her story.

When I came down for breakfast, I asked if I could buy the bed. It was SO comfortable! My room was clean and cozy and had 2 windows with views of the garden and the neighbor's garden. The breakfast was carefully prepared, and we were offered choices. I chose an 'omelette,' potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and a croissant. The place has a tiny in-ground pool that's heated to 84 degrees, and the home is located walking distance from a lakeside park, the Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises (a delightful walking area) and a very good supermarket.
