It was really special staying in such a historic house that has been serving guests for decades. Diane was so kind and sweet. We think this place is a gem and perfect for someone looking for simple accommodations and making memories outside in the beautiful world outdoors. Thank you Diane for a great stay. The room we stayed in was really nice with a great view from the window. Bathrooms and shower rooms were clean and worked great.

This place one of the best stay we ever stayed… It’s wonderful way of explore the Switzerland and its nature this house surrounded by mountains and falls you can enjoy the view from inside the house.. The owner and his brother is really nice persons during our stay if we need anything they will do immediately famous places like Lauterbrunnen just 10 mins from house

This place is truly a hidden gem! Private, quiet (minus the lovely sound of waterfalls and bells), and a retreat away from the touristy centers. Basic yet comfortable amenities and space for a family of 4. Prepared meals in the kitchen, plenty of sitting areas, furnace works great on cool nights, comfortable beds. On-site parking and walkability to the affiliated restaurant where the staff will treat you with special attention. We have been to the Lauterbrunnen area 4x but our first stay in Stechelberg. Conflicted recommending to others yet also keeping it a secret.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the first five days of our trip to Switzerland, and we truly could not have asked for a better place to stay. Our host was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in a few hours early, which was a huge help after traveling with all of our luggage. She also checked in on us during our first day and provided us with guest cards for the fitness center and pool, which we really appreciated. The apartment had a kitchen and bathroom that were the perfect size for our stay, making it feel comfortable and convenient. The location was absolutely amazing. We woke up every day to breathtaking mountain views right outside our windows. It was also centrally located in Mürren, which made it super convenient for groceries, cable cars, restaurants, and hiking trails. We were so happy this was the first place we stayed during our trip, and we would absolutely book here again in the future.

Perfect location centrally located in Murren. We loved the views from the deck and living room! It was great having a washer and the drying rack worked out very well, washing at night all was dry by morning. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were very comfy. We would definitely stay there again!

The apartment is comfortable and very well stocked. The location was wonderful, with views off the balcony and right in the center of Murren. Lael was so friendly and helpful.

Owners were so kind and helpful. So easygoing and hospitable. Super large room with lots of space. Location is a little bit of a walk but so perfect for anyone trying to hike or backpack.

The apartment was exceptional. Wonderful view. Large spacious apartment with all the amenities. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans lots of dishes. Everything needed to prepare food. I even made a roast in the oven.

Beautiful mountain view if you upgrade room. They have a meet and greet event which you meet the owners. Nice staff. Great amazing breakfast if you get it included. It's right across the cable car. Pool with a view. Service fast and great. Generous hotel cart service to and from the other station

The homey atmosphere and amazing staff!

Amazing views over the Jungfrau and the surrounding mountains! Plus many options for hikes to mountain ridges and glacier valleys. The location is incredibly beautiful. Chris welcomed us very warmly and made our stay that much nicer. Steak night - what a treat that was! 😀
