Picturesque experience, beautiful swimming pool, historic background. I loved loved the staff. The staff were the best thing about this entire trip. Thanks to the staff for letting me off the loose with a late checkout when my car broke down.

Great location near Franconia Park. Motel right on the river with a picnic area. Basketball hoop and indoor pool. Friendly staff. The big grassy area was perfect for playing frisbee. Good value for the price.

This cabin was ideal for what we wanted. We wanted a quiet, restful weekend away from our jobs and our daily responsibilities. The cabin had all the comforts of home plus beautiful surroundings. It would be amazing to stay there in the winter and ski at Cannon. What an amazing location. As others have said, the beds weren't the most comfortable we've ever slept on, but we did sleep very well because the neighborhood was so quiet. The beds aren't as uncomfortable as some reviews have described. We also loved that we were able to bring our two dogs without a huge fee added on. I understand getting charged if your dog causes damage or additional cleaning needs, but our dogs are well behaved and we clean up after them so we're happy that these homeowners recognize that dogs are an important part of people's lives. One other place was going to charge us $300 to bring our dogs for a weekend. The fact we didn't have to pay that here meant so much to us.
