Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

This is a class hotel on every level. The spa is exceptional. It's not the cheapest place, but you get wonderful views, an amazing breakfast buffet and a stunning location for the money. Worth the indulgence.

The room was very comfortable. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast and dinner were tasty. The children's play area was sufficient for the little ones. The view was beautiful.

I visited this hotel in 2023 for lunch. It was wonderful and they have my favorite white wine -- Thorsten Krieger. I wanted to stay here at the hotel and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful small village and the hourly train took me to the lakes where I could hike. This village is also known for their hiking, a waterfall where people bathe. Early December was not the peak season so I was given a huge double room that has an extra little sitting room with bottled water, a plate filled with cookies and milk chocolate (replaced every morning). The breakfast was wonderful and I also received personal service, making scrambled eggs to my liking. The staff spoke perfect English and they were super friendly. I would love to stay there again. The guests get a ticket for free and discounted activities -- heated pools -- and they also have a free sauna at the hotel. There is much more to tell.

This 5-star hotel is located in the town of Aschau, just a few minutes’ walk from the Prien river, boasting wonderful views of the mountains from many of the rooms.

An oasis of calm to savor lingering and the entertainment of dining. Situated on a hill in a picturesque village, a mountain backdrop with courtyards of calm, we whiled away hours. After the mountain alpenglow, we dined leisurely in the evening, walked around the village at night, slept deeply and luxuriously, read books on the balcony as the sun rose from the mountain tops to start a new day. Then there was a splendid breakfast to start our new day.

We really enjoyed our two night stay here, the sauna and pool were great after hiking all day, but the best part was how friendly and welcoming the hotel owners were to us.

This traditional guest house offers free Wi-Fi, a sun terrace, spa facilities, a fruit/vegetable garden and free parking. It is centrally located in the Bavarian health resort of Reit am Winkl.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel decor was amazing and they provided so many lovely unexpected touches - cozy seating areas on the front porch, self service beverages (wine, beer etc), mats for shoes outside rooms for wet boots etc, offering to carry our luggage upstairs. And the breakfast buffet offered more than I expected - wurstsalat and so much more. I wish we were staying longer than 1 night! Also, the location was great - easy to walk all around town.

Everything was amazing. The room was nice, and to be honest, just a room, But the location and all of the amenities were out of this world. I had to double check how much I was paying for the night, because it seemed like I could not be getting so much for the rate. I have recommended this to my friends and family and will keep doing so with anyone I come across when talking about traveling.
