The location was unique with room being part of the original Spanish Knights auberge, dating from 1400s and within easy walking distance of all that bustling Rhodes Old Town has to offer yet remaining extremely quiet and secluded. The local family owners/hosts demonstrated typical warm greek hospitality and provided several thoughtful touches upon arrival - a glass of water, a fridge stocked with wine , soft drinks and more water and a welcome drink of the patrons home made limoncello with traditional greek sweets. Despite the antiquity of the building, the room was finished with high quality modern fixtures and fittings carefully selected to fit with the character of the room - the interior design was excellent . The included breakfast was substantial and high quality including fresh local baked goods, fruit, Greek yogurt and coffee and juices - all of which was enjoyed in the shady and delightfully landscaped courtyard. This was a perfect, no stress getaway - I would highly recommend to family and friends and would be happy to return in the future.

The room was amazing!! We became friends with the owner and the rest of the stuff who were all very friendly, helpful and gave the best tips for exploring the beauty of the island as well as the best restaurants to visit. The location was great and although a 1 minute wall from the hot/busy area during night time where most of the bars are located, you could not hear a thing from your room.

Everything !!! Do yourself a favor and book this hotel for your next trip to Rhodes. We enjoyed our stay so much and truly felt like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make the perfect stay for us - the checked us in earlier, greeted us with champagne, always with a smile and top service. The breakfast is unbelievably tasty and luxurious, the design and architecture is breathtaking and the view of the sea made us grateful everyday for being alive. 10/10 oh, and the beach and the best beach bars are 30 sec walk

From the moment we arrived, Meltem and Alex, the incredible staff at Mercure, went above and beyond to make our stay truly exceptional. We had an amazing time. The resort is truly fantastic — it offers many swimming pools, à la carte restaurants, bars, activities, and a great gym. I do feel that you are dependent on a car or bus, as there isn’t a village within walking distance. It’s definitely highly recommended, especially since it’s adults-only — it’s peaceful and has a really relaxing vibe.
