Everything! The pictures don’t do any justice to the property. The natural aspect and it overlooking the jungle was absolutely perfect. Don’t even get me started on the outdoor bath. The room itself is large, very clean and comfortable. It didn’t have any bugs or unwelcome creepy crawly or jumpy guests. I also liked the aromatic citronella repellent the staff lit after each cleaning of the room. The infinity pool and dining area are absolutely stunning AND to top it all off, the staff were all extremely polite, welcoming and friendly. They made my birthday so special! Truly unforgettable experience!

Absolutely loved all the yoga and activities. The staff were always amazing and welcoming . They have a lady in the afternoons that does mani and pedi’s for free and she was so good. I also got the most amazing treatments at their sister company Inka Spa for a discount.

Menzel Villa Ubud is nothing short of paradise. My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and genuine Balinese hospitality. The resort is incredibly romantic, with stunning rice terrace views, beautifully maintained grounds, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the front office and restaurant team was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our trip was the Romantic Dinner package. It was worth every Rupiah. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the rice terraces surrounded by candles and flowers, creating an unforgettable setting for our anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding, with each course better than the last, and the service was impeccable. I was also treated to the Holistic Spa Package, which was pure luxury from start to finish. It was one of the most relaxing and indulgent spa experiences I have ever had. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and we left with wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.

The place is wonderful, not far from the center, but nevertheless quite quiet. The territory of the hotel is large, with 2 swimming pools and a large green area. Breakfasts are 3 out of 5. The staff is very friendly and always ready to come and help you to the evening. The room is small but comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I like everything.

My wife and I recently stayed at Purana Boutique Resort for a few nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. We booked the one-bedroom villa with a private pool, and it was incredibly tranquil and private, the perfect blend of luxury and serenity. After spending time exploring, it felt amazing to return to our own peaceful oasis. The on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious. We found ourselves eating most of our meals there because the food was so consistently good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Another major highlight was the complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud center. It allowed us to fully experience Ubud while staying somewhere peaceful and slightly removed from the busy center, which ended up being the perfect balance. We also appreciated that there were additional experiences available right through the resort, like cooking classes, spa treatments, and curated local tours. We didn’t have time to try everything, but it was great knowing those options were easily accessible if we wanted to add more to our stay. What truly made this place special, though, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Each time we returned to the resort, we were greeted warmly with smiles and kindness. What stood out most was how the team wore many hats. The same friendly faces who helped us at the front desk would also serve our meals or drive us into town. It made the experience feel personal and authentic, and we loved building real connections with them throughout our stay. Yannik was an incredible guide during our half-day tour. He took us to see the rice paddies, a beautiful waterfall, led us through a meaningful water purification journey, brought us to stunning temples, and arranged a visit to a coffee plantation. His insight, knowledge, and generous hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable and deeply special.

Rooms are unique, food is great, it shows they’ve been doing great as one of the oldest hotels in Ubud. Cooking class offered is top notch. We did that 9 years ago, and this time again. It is a wonderful experience.

Amazing staff and great service. Wonderful room amidst lush greenery. Value for money overall. The staff went out of their way to make my stay a wonderful one. They accommodated a number of my personal requests thus making my stay a truly memorable one.

Staff were so lovely and helpful. The room was delightful and the shower was the best I had in my trip to Indonesia! Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. It was also my birthday whilst i was there and the brought out cake and flowers which was very sweet! Highly recommend if staying in ubud.

Amazing and quite new hotel, staff very helpful and doing their best to accommodate any requests! Also great breakfast and they even offered complimentary 15 min shoulder massage. Free drop off to ubud center available few times a day. Highly recommended!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. 20 meters off one of Ubud's main streets. Stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years. Breakfast buffet excellent. Highly recommend to all travelers visiting Ubud. Enjoy and respect Bali.

I had a wonderful stay . Everything was perfect from start to finish. The place is beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always made sure I was comfortable. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali.
