Staff was friendly & helpful .food was amazing

Clean. Helpful friendly staff. Rooms and bathrooms were nice. Breakfast was very good. The Western breakfast was full English.

Amazing property situated on the beach, with a small kids waterpark and play area.

The staff were very friendly and supportive. We went on half board but. One of the chef came and inquired about the meals and service. After I gave feedback the team made extra dish and serve us. I feel that the real customer service is.

We loved everything about Morning Star. Pratham and Ronnie (plus all staff) were professional, accommodating with top end customer services. The place itself was very clean, quiet and satisfying. I want to highlight that my husband left his 2 phones in the room we were in and he probably realized it after a week. He called Pratham and asked him to look for it. They checked everything and finally when they found them, Pratham called us to give the good news. Now we are in the process of getting the phones back to the UK. They have been superb.

Upon arrival, the owner was very cordial and guided our taxi driver to the homestay. We were greeted with a splendid home-cooked local Sri Lankan breakfast. The owner also offered me to be my tour guide for my entire stay in Sri Lanka and we spent the last night at this homestay as well we were greeted with Sri Lankan rice and curry. I would highly recommend this homestay.

I liked that it was beachfront, with a nice pool, and very friendly service.

The apartment with 2 double beds was ideal.. The staff were lovely and chatty. The pool was great. Very relaxing and great for families.

Absolutely liked everything about this stay. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms. Surrounding was lively and stylish. Moreover the staff are also accommodating and friendly.

I saw some bad reviews about the establishment but after visiting yesterday I did not come across any issues in my stay. As the reviews said the staff was very friendly I spoke to the manager and they said that they have bought new linen recently to the linen issues they had faced. And the food from the restaurant was even better. I recommend you try the Crab curry here 🦀 Overall for anyone with a medium budget who needs good food and good comfortable rooms. Also the bedding was superb. I recommend this place. I don't know why guests say the airport is far away. They don't realize even though it's called the Colombo Airport it's much closer to Negombo than Colombo.

Very lovely hotel located in the center of Negombo right on the beach. Rooms are nicely decorated and fully equipped. Late afternoon I was surprised with a fruit platter that was send free of charge to the guest room. This felt so welcoming. The staff, especially the front office staff and the guest relation lady, is super kind and helpful.

This could perhaps be one of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka. The staff and owners are extremely helpful and professional, on my last day they arranged dinner, a taxi to the airport and my laundry! The room i stayed in was spotlessly clean, the Aircon was working perfectly and the shower was the best one I've had. Not to mention the beds who were super comfy and with mosquito nets! Besides that, the pool was great and the homemade dinner by Judith was delicious! Really nothing bad to say at all. If I'd ever come back to Sri Lanka ill definitely stay a few days here again !!

Very clean and comfortable place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Quiet location and close to the beach. Great value for money. I enjoyed my stay!
