This place is absolutely incredible, and we were delighted by the wonderful breakfasts prepared by Sharon and John—they’re such thoughtful and welcoming hosts. Like you, I read all the rave reviews and was sold—and I’m so glad I booked it. The WiFi was great, and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after several days of hiking.

It was pure delight to spend time at Mill Cottage. We loved the Spa pool and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts even provided breakfast for the first nights as our flight was late. The garden is lovely and the ducklings were fun to watch. The cottage is close to the pretty village Akaroa and several hiking tours. One of our best stays ever.
