There were common areas on the 2nd through 4th floor that are very spacious and comfortable if you want to sit and chat. The elevator give a great view of the street. The restaurant on the 5th floor was really great, as was the included breakfast. (It was buffet style with plenty to choose from and fresh-cooked eggs.) The balcony in my room (313) was spacious and had a great view.

CasaBosque is a tropical-style hotel in Tarapoto, ideal for guests who want to relax surrounded by nature while staying close to the city.

Over many years traveling through South America I have not found a place like this. A unique combination of pristine location right a the river with access for swimming, beautiful clean rooms, excellent vegetarian meals and a genuine ecological commitment paired with a know how of the owners of the area which is a great plus. Javier and Claudia not only manage the property, they also lead a number of excellent and great value activities. I went on hikes and did several other experiences which were all outstanding. Highly recommend staying a Chirapa Manta either individually or part of a retreat.
