Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

The property is beautiful and well kept with a lovely open air onsen. The views are breathtaking! The breakfast buffet was over the top and the French restaurant was delicious! Complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks was an added bonus! The shuttle to and from the train station was a blessing and the staff was incredibly efficient and kind.

Wonderfully kind host. Cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. Dinner was amazing at the BBQ restaurant onsite. Best meals we had in Japan! Host was very welcoming and helped us plan activities in the area. On site family onsen was another high point. We plan to return and tell our friends about this gem!

The room is warm and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. It’s a perfect choice for your ski trip or exploring the area in the green season. The hotel is close to convenience store open from 10am to 20pm there are restaurant and cafes nearby. There is a big ski room, and you can dry your gears. You can buy your ski-pass with a discount directly at the holes. The owner and the staff are amazing. the breakfast is lovely. I will come back! MADARO mountain is great!
