Fabulous property for my weekend getaway from the city. It’s like a hidden gem in the jungle, very green, quiet, and relaxing. I just wish I could have spent more time there. I really enjoyed the comfortable, quiet room, which had a great resort-like vibe. The breakfast included in the package was simple but enough to fuel us for the day. The pool was probably my favorite; I spent about an hour swimming, surrounded by trees and plants.

You are truly in nature at this beautiful, verdant resort. It simply oozes charm, quality and a rustic sophistication. The setting on a hillside overlooking the ocean is sublime, our accommodation was spacious , with a timeless simplicity and views to die for. The staff were excellent and the service impeccable. The 2 pools were a joy to relax beside, the food especially the breakfast buffet was truly sumptuous and of the highest quality. I can recommend this resort wholeheartedly and without reservation.

4th floor over looking the pool and the Gulf of Thailand. The Hotel was perfect. I've been to a lot of places in my time. This places from the front of the house to the back of the house staff. To Notch. Everything perfect. Great WiFi smart TV so I could watch Netflix. Pool is huge and super clean like the rooms. Loved the elevator. 1.50 USD to crab market and Kep beach. Walking distant to ABA banking machine. Sound proof rooms.. Air Con was perfect I have rebooked again. Heads up,I live in Kep and have stayed at a few places. Being all over Cambodia. This is the nicest place that I've ever stayed at for what you get and what you pay. Don't waste your time going to other places, this is the place.

Location is the only positive side. I have a complaint regarding my recent hotel booking experience. Upon arrival at the scheduled 2:00 PM check-in time, I was informed that my room was not ready and was asked to simply hang around the premises. Shockingly, the room remained unavailable until 5:00 PM, a three-hour delay with no proper explanation, accommodation, or compensation offered by the staff. Throughout this ordeal, the hotel staff demonstrated a complete lack of helpfulness, friendliness, and basic customer service care, showing no concern for the inconvenience caused to me and my family.

RIvertree is an unbelievable experience. The rooms are perfect, the staff are all outstanding and the food superb. We loved everything about the resort. It is a little way out of Kampot but it is simply 5 star. I’m not sure the photos on booking.com do it justice ! Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast choice was great and the lunch and dinner menu good. We would highly recommend and I do hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thank you.

We stayed over the weekend, as Kampot is always one of our favourite getaway destinations. This time, we chose Chateau Kampot because it is a new and visually appealing property. From the outside, the colonial-style building stands out beautifully, and once inside, it offers a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. We booked a Deluxe Room, which turned out to be very spacious—much better than we expected. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the moment we lay down, we completely relaxed. The bathroom was also spacious, though the hot water took about two minutes to warm up. The staff were truly the highlight of our stay—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was good and sufficient for us, though it could benefit from a wider variety of options.
