This is one of the nicest resorts I have stayed. The facilities are immaculate and the staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. The resort was recently remodeled and it hasn't yet been fully discovered, should come before it does!

Playa Escondida is a beautiful resort. The beach is simply terrific. The resort has 3 restaurants, a bakery and bars. There is also a shop. The apartment we rented was located in a very new building with direct access to one of the swimming pools and to the beach. The host is truly responsive and gentle. We enjoyed our stay,

Our stay at Playa Escondida could not have been more pleasurable. After a long drive from the airport (due to missing a crucial turn), our gracious hosts were very understanding and waiting for us when we finally arrived. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable, The entire property is beautiful with two excellent restaurants and a gelato shop. With the Tiendita, there was no need to leave for anything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even helping to change a flat tire on our departure day. The beach and the water were spectacular, especially in the morning when the sun was coming up. Snorkeling revealed plentiful fish all around the rocks and kayaks were excellent for exploring the bay and the mangrove shoreline. Everyone in our family loved the stay and look forward to coming back.
