One of our favorite overnight stays while cycling La Velodysee route through France. Our room was very comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The restaurant was superb for both dinner and breakfast. The staff was exceptional and bike storage facilities were quite good. The surrounding area was beautiful and relaxing.

The pedestrian village is located in the Landes department, in the heart of the pine grove. It offers a heated, outdoor swimming pool as well as unheated swimming pools.

The Lou Cout apartment is in the heart of the Basque region, 656 feet from the beach. It is decorated with Indonesian furniture and artworks, and has a fully-equipped kitchen, as well as free Wi-Fi.

The location is perfect: close to the beach, and there are supermarkets, bars and restaurants nearby (less than 700 m). Nevertheless, it wasn’t very noisy outside. The apartment itself is very clean, everything is well-maintained. The bed is comfortable, water pressure in the shower is very good. We didn’t cook during our stay, so I cannot say anything about the kitchen and the utensils. The weather was very hot (+35°C) but the temperature in the apartment was actually fine. There was also a fan in the apartment, but we didn’t use it. We were given capsules for the coffee machine and the pods for the dishwasher. We couldn’t find pods/liquid soap for the washing machine, but maybe we didn’t search for it well enough. It was easy to contact the staff, and they were responding fast. All in all, very nice place! Would come back again :)

Large room, friendly staff, centrally located, nice pool, interior of the rooms well maintained. There was an interior room for bike storage. The exterior needs upgrading but it was good value for the money.

A holiday park set 2625 feet from the beach, Village Vacances Le Junka offers an outdoor swimming pool, a children's playground, a restaurant, and free Wi-Fi access in public areas.

Le mas des Landes is a recently renovated guest house in Vielle-Saint-Girons where guests can make the most of its seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden.

A lovely and clean room in a beautiful garden setting. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious with home made jams and brioches and much more. We appreciated that it is also bicycle friendly and very close to La Velodysses
