This was the best place I stayed in Romania so far. The host was lovely, kind, and very helpful, with enough English to make communication easy. The garden is beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. It’s a wonderful choice if you want an alternative to staying in Sibiu, with the bonus of being much closer to nature.

Pensiunea Mioritica is located in rural surroundings on the outskirts of Sibiel in Transylvania, and features a little museum of communism, and also a museum of local traditional objects.

Beautiful house, clean, quiet, well equipped with everything necessary. Most importantly, the host, Mihai, went above and beyond to please every single one of us. The breakfast food was delicious: all either home made or from the local farmers. Surroundings and the views: fantastic!
