Truly beautiful house with wonderfully warm hosts - we had three rooms, including a two bedroom mini-apartment and we were all very comfortable. We also had a great homemade breakfast in the morning to crown it all. Highly recommended.

I stayed in the small (one-room house) in the back of the property. It was the third time I stayed at this location, hence my opinion should be pretty clear. Half a mile from the city center, but located on a quiet side street. Roxana is the most gracious host, always making sure everything is perfect. I plan to visit again in the summer of 2026, and I would recommend this location enthusiastically.

We loved everything about Poiana de Vis. Sorin and his wife greeted us like family, making us feel at home immediately. We are walking the Via Transilvanica and Sorin offered to pick us up at the monastery when we arrived. We declined, but later accepted his offer to take us back to the monastery to explore. The room was super cozy and comfortable, and the setting is fabulous. Having Tochitruck (a cool food truck concept run by Julien, the son) so close by made getting a fabulous dinner and breakfast easy.
