I liked how peaceful/quiet it was, but it would have been nice to see more fellow travelers. The kitchen was spacious with 2 refrigerators. I hope to return to Kalmar some day, maybe to Svanen.

It really couldn't have been better...the best location off the main square, fabulous breakfasts, comfortable room and best if all, an amazing staff that goes above and beyond for their guests.

Magical setting. Wonderful host. Absolute peace, but walking distance to the sea, swimming, restaurants, and the ferry. Birds singing. Huge yard. Friendly neighbors include humans, cats, dogs, deer, butterflies. The northern and southern tips of the island are easily attainable by car. Felt safe walking alone at any time of day. If you want to feel like Snow White in a fairy tale cottage, you've found the place.
