The room was lovely, warm and really clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially the crispy bacon and eggs! The reception was lovely but as it was quiet season it was only open to allow us to check in. The location is wonderful, right on the water and close to bars and restaurants.

Hovdehytta is located at Hovden in the Setesdal Valley, a 10-minute walk from Hovden Water Park. It offers a range of outdoor activities.

The staff was accommodating when we needed an extra chair in the room and when we had questions. In particular, Gunn was most helpful. The facility was clean, and the food was very good.

I liked the spacious rooms, good breakfast (perfect bacon!) and calm location (there's a motorway right next to the inn, but sound is perfectly isolated).
