We have been in Northern Finland and Norway for 2 weeks now across different locations. This place was probably amongst the best locations. A dream cottage on top of a hill in the middle of a forest with a view of a lake. The cottage has floor to ceiling glass walls in the living room and the 2 bedrooms, giving you a view of the surrounding areas. A "view to die for". Very modern kitchen amenities. A good electric sauna. This is a place we would live to come back to.

The property is gorgeous and well equipped. The view off the back deck is the beautiful lake and the location is quiet and peaceful. The hosts were extremely responsive with any questions we had during our stay.

Location wise, It is very close to Ivalo airport and 10 minutes drive to Ivalo. House is located by the lake and few steps you can be on the lake. House is well maintained and host IIkka is very responsive to our needs. Thumbs up to IIkka. We came to Ivalo to see northern light. As house is secluded, we got to see northern light 5 consecutive nights.
