Villas in Palaiochora

Exceptional villa, new with everything in working order, extremely clean and comfortable. I am a sensitive person who struggles with chemicals, mustiness, allergies. This property was above and beyond clean, with like new amenities and furniture, amazing pool, patio and balcony areas, staff that was supportive and available to help. Cleaning service was offered throughout the week, many treats were left for us like drinks, snacks, coffee options, wine, nice toiletries. This was a fantastic base for our girls trip of four women in our family. Thank you!!

This is an amazing vacation spot! Maria is so kind and helpful. The villa is very comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. The privacy offered here is fantastic, while also being right on the beach and close enough to a few restaurants that you can walk to dinner. The private pool is also a huge bonus. We loved our stay here and would absolutely stay again!

Large stunning property. Close to Palaiochora and very nice beaches. The best part about the property was the thoughtfulness of the kind hosts. They took care of us like we were family.

It was a beautiful villa. If I had to make a comment I would say it would be good if there was more of a privacy partition between the other villa instead of glass. Otherwise we enjoyed the villa very much and the cleaning staff was great replenish our towels and the host dropped off floaties for the pool. It was a great experience. We have not always had good Airbnb experiences so this was a pleasant change.

The villa is situated just a short walk from the main village center, where you can find many restaurants, shops, and convenience stores. There are a couple of beaches in the village, all walkable from the villa. On one side is a wide sandy beach, with plenty of beds/parasols to hire, ranging from €10 a set to €30 depending on the quality of the bed. There are a few beach bars serving drinks and food all day, the expensive beds have a QR code to order drinks directly to the bed itself. On the other side of the village there are a couple of small beaches with pebbles. If you have a car then a short drive to Gialiskari Beach is recommended, the drive covers about 2km of a very uneven, stoney road, but well worth the hassle. The villa itself is spotless inside, and the infinity pool is just great after a busy day out and about. 2 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a kitchen if you want to cook at home. There is plenty of space for parking. A trip to Elafonissi Beach is highly recommended, and a tip for what its worth, walk through the water to the island, where you can have plenty of space for yourself on a truly beautiful beach, you can also hire a couple of beds with a parasol on the main beach, although this is not really necessary if you have your own parasol, just walk past the masses (it is very busy here) and set up on the island for much more tranquility.

Lovely home with all the modern amenities. The host greeted us upon arrival and came to with us goodbye. Kitchen stocked with all of the necessities. Had a nice beach house vibe . Thanks for the hospitality.

A very high quality villa that was delightful to stay in. Eftihis was very friendly and helpful in every way. The villa was perfect and the cream on the cake was the family taverna on the hill above, where we had superb authentic cretan meals in a very friendly atmosphere and picturesque surroundings. Be aware that the villa is situated in a mountain village with narrow access roads, which is a major part of it's charm. The surrounding birdlife and rural environment make for a very peaceful stay away from the crowds. Communication with Eftihis was quick and efficient and check in was easy. In summary.... This was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed every moment, so much so, I'm sure we will be back!

The neighbors are the sweetest people. They were an absolute delight and I imagine the owner is the same. The homemade wine and Raki was delicious and place is rural and magical.

We had an amazing 2-night stay in Grammeno! The apartment was sparkling clean, spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is unbeatable—literally just a few steps from a beautiful, quiet beach, yet only a 3-minute drive from some of the most stunning beaches in the Chania area. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like a well-stocked kitchen and breakfast supplies, plus ample parking space. Perfectly peaceful and relaxing

Just what we needed to accommodate two families with one child each . A very well appointed villa with all we needed and more . The location is amazing . The small beach just a few steps away from the house is one of the best we’ve experienced in Crete and Greece in general. Is sits on a small peninsula with one side facing the west and the other facing the east, which always promises you a flat and peaceful sea whichever direction the wind is blowing . And even in the midst of July it still feels almost like a private breach. Eleni was the perfect host. She was in-touch with us on a daily basis offering tips or just making sure all was ok and if we needed anything. All the above plus the fact that the books is located just a few minutes dive from charming town of Palaiochora. The south west of Crete is our favourite part of Crete so we’ll definitely be back .

The location is amazing, something to remember. It is located in the valley with just a few other houses on the other side on the slopes. The terrace is amazing to enjoy morning coffee and at night if it's clear you can spend time watching the stars.

What a beautiful and special villa! Set on a hill side overlooking the sea, this property did not disappoint! Clean and modern. The accommodations were excellent and even more amazing in person. Lots of hiking and easy access to the to the beach. We truly loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. This is the perfect place for someone looking for a quiet secluded vacation spot. It is low key and relaxing. The food at the nearby taverna was EXCELLENT!! The staff was very friendly.
