It has a beautiful location overlooking Isafjordur, with a stream running by, and a sauna. Lots of room for guests, and very comfortable inside with wood stoves on both levels. The history is quite rich, and the owner has gone to great lengths to present how the lodge has evolved from 1929 to its current state.

The location was excellent. We also enjoyed the camaraderie and food at the new local restaurant and pub just a block away from the house. Would like to return again someday!

Plenty of space for two families and a generous laundry room as well. Views from the living room of the fjord were gorgeous, and doing dishes while looking at the mountain and watching sheep was so fun.
