Villas in Onomichi

Absolutely FANTASTIC! We loved everything about this traditional Japanese house. The connected tatami rooms created a wonderful atmosphere, and the small office corner with a desk was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped, the house was beautiful both inside and out, and the bathroom was exceptional. It was a truly memorable experience. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Onomichi. The house is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the local train station. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Very spacious, nice views, peaceful, quiet, big kitchen

We had a lovely stay at Onomichi Villa (尾道別邸). It’s a beautifully renovated traditional house—full of charm, thoughtfully designed, spacious, and very clean. It was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. The peaceful atmosphere, pretty garden with a citrus tree, and views over the town made it extra special. I was initially concerned by the lower ratings, but our experience was excellent. One thing to note: the property is located on a hill, so be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to stay in Onomichi.

Beautiful location. Loved the firewood bundle and marshmallows to roast at sunset. Great amenities and the coffee basket for the morning was fantastic!

This is a fantastic accommodation! I booked it for my dad's birthday while cycling the Shimanami Kaido and it didn't disappoint. I knew it would be good from the reviews, but all of the finishing touches made it excellent. The towels were fluffy, the beds were comfy, and all the instructions were well explained. It's true that the accomm is quite out of the way of any shops or restaurants but we came prepared with the ingredients for dinner. The kitchen was well equipped, so it worked out very well.

Great host! Great location, perfect for cycling and fishing, was very spacious, clean and well stocked. It has everything u need, washing machine with dryer and detergent pods is provided, coffee capsules, welcome drinks & cookies, message card were a nice warm touch. There was even a emergency aid kit which has bandages in it and my son cut his finger a bit with a knife and was a life savor. Our mails always got answered very promptly, was a very convenient & comfortable stay.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly, they provided a lot of great information before arrival to help plan the perfect trip and were very flexible with arrival time. Kayak and SUP rental through the booking was a great addition and helped us enjoy our time there. Overall great stay with very nice hosts.

I loved everything and will definitely come back in the future.

Perfect for our bike trip. Loved being next to the ocean. Had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer.
