Villas in Hatton

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

Beautiful former plantation house, well kept.Quiet location. Best accommodation we had on the Pekoe Trail. Great location for stages 7 and 8. Our hosts, Ruban and Murali, were fantastic - attentive, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the Pekoe Trail and gave us good advice for our walk.

Tucked up in the hills this sophisticated accommodation is a 5 star experience. The staff are excellent, the food is excellent & the views from the tea plantation is excellent. We felt like we were in the movie Out Of Africa but Sri Lanka will do. Breakfast on the lawn was exceptional. You do need a car or driver for this accommodation or the hotel can provide. We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing location, hospitable host. Very clean, a bit difficult to get the mountain with the suitcases but the host accommodated the suitcases. Love the fresh flowers touch :)?

Beautiful and charming hotel with breathtaking nature and beautiful landscaping around. Service was excellent and staff very helpful and welcoming. Nothing negative to point at.
