Cozy two bedroom apartment. The location was great for exploring the mountain areas. The unit was warm even in cold winter weather. We parked outside the restaurant. Easy check-in with lockbox, and hosts were very friendly, communitive and responsive. Lots of information available for the local area. Including good tip to buy fresh bread from the local bakers that drive through the little village. We will stay there again when in Serra da Estrella.

Host was waiting for us, always really polite. He also promptly made a few suggestions on where we could go to have a great meal. We followed the advice and, again, exceeded expectations. I also would like to mention that since we were going to take the kids to see the snow, the host advise us were to go in Serra da Estrela as a few spots were closed due to hazards caused by the weather. And this was even before arriving.

Amazing stylish house with almost everything made in Portugal: dishes, cuttlery, wool blankets, pillows and small details made by local producer (I googled it for myself). Upstairs there is a babygate, so the stairs are safe for dogs. House has two ACs, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fireplace. But you won’t need AC in summer: because of thick stone walls it was like +18 inside when it was +30 outside :)
