The hosts were amazing, a truly wonderful experience. They waited for us at the property (and we were late due to a lot of traffic on the road) and welcomed us wholeheartedly! They even brought/made us delicious food and drinks. They really made our stay feel better, it made such a difference compared to our vacations anywhere else. The house has everything you need, including grill equipment. It is quiet and relaxing, just what you need to disconnect from the everyday world.

Great location in the wood, but just near main road. Comfortable accommodation with all necessary accessoaries for family stay. Great restaurant nearby (Manjez) with discounted prices for guests of Oaza Jela.

It has EVERYTHING you need. The owner thought of everything.

A private cottage in a small village, which has a restaurant and a grocery place right next to it. The house is very clean and comfortable, first floor has the kitchen, the leaving room and bathroom, and second floor has two bedrooms. The accommodation owner is the nicest, kindest and most generous person you'll meet. Be doesn't speak lots of English, but will do all he can to help and make your stay as lovely as possible.

The property is spacious, very clean, very modern and beautiful and the location is amazing. It can take up to 6-7 people, has a place to park that is near the villa, and is very cozy. I would highly recommend everyone to stay if they have the chance. There’s a restaurant exactly next to the place. Take into account that there are no supermarkets near the villa, so if you need anything, take it beforehand.

The view was incredible. The house was nice and functional, built by hand by the owners. The kitchen was fully equipped, probably one I've stayed in that had the most dishes, pots, pans etc with a stove, oven, kettle. Hot shower, wood burning stove that warmed up the whole house quickly. Nice places to walk and get to the 2 main lakes. Great location, quiet and cozy.

We recently spent 3 at Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA, and it was genuinely one of the most memorable stays we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything surpassed our expectations. The place is beautifully crafted all wood, cozy, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area was warm and inviting, and the bedrooms were comfortable with large windows framing stunning mountain views. Our mornings on the terrace, sipping coffee while gazing at the valley and lake, were unforgettable. Location is outstanding. Perched in nature yet within reach of beautiful trails, Zaovine Lake, and local attractions, it’s ideal for both peace and exploration. We loved having gorgeous walking paths close by and being immersed in serenity away from city noise. But what truly sets this place apart is the host, Dragana. She was warm, responsive, and went above and beyond welcoming us, sharing local tips, and even surprising us with homemade treats. Her hospitality elevated the entire experience. If you’re seeking a tranquil escape in the Serbian mountains, one that balances comfort, character, and nature: Drvene kuće ŠUŠKA is a gem. We are already planning our return!

Amazing place for deep breath in Tara. The host and neighbors are like a family. This is the greatest place for stay. The restaurant is in 7 minutes to walk. You will get fantastic star night

The host was waiting for us when we reached the property. It is nestled in a nice garden surrounded by the fruit trees. The kids loved their room and the view from their window. The house is very pretty and clean and we spent a relaxing evening in the veranda. Had we known that the house and location was this amazing, we would have booked it for another night. Recommend it for families or couples.

Excellent facilities, the house is incredible - great location, very cozy house, a lot of details which you can’t stop to explore. Hosts are great people, very warm and hospitable. The house is warm although outside temperature was close to 0 degree during the night. We spent great holidays there and have a plan to come one day again
