This place is stunning and spacious - it includes a gorgeous living room downstairs as well as the kitchen and bathroom. There is another seating area upstairs and the bedroom. It is also in the traditional Japanese style, which we love! The highlights for us though were two parts: First, the host is incredible! You cannot drive up to the house because the last road is too steep so he showed us where to park near the base and then drove us up in his bigger car. (He kindly did this again in the morning when we left, even though we had to leave very early!) Second, the view is incredible! It was a stunning way to start the day. Our only regret is we wish we'd stayed longer :)

Fantastic home thoughtfully renovated which still preserves an authentic historic feel. It is well equipped with everything you need regardless of the duration of your stay. The hosts are very kind and hospitable, going out of their way to help us: We wish we could have stayed longer. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.
