Location is in a quiet area in the streets of Negombo, but not too far. We had a vehicle so didn't need to walk. Hosts greeted us with drinks on arrival and were very friendly. Room was clean and tidy and the hosts also made some arrangements that we asked for even though we stayed only a single night. Good bathroom facilities, shower had good pressure and hot water.

Mr. Chamidu, the manager, showed us around the property. He did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable under difficult conditions, being stranded due to the Middle East crisis. We were given a beautiful room at no extra cost. We were very well cared for. The lady owner runs a fabulous craft workshop to offer young women from the village, livelihood opportunities.

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 2.5 mi from Negombo City.

This house is incredible. We had a group of 11 and there was plenty of space for us all. The bedrooms are large. The living spaces and open and light. The pool was fantastic. Location is ideal - walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
