It was in a convenient location, with a great view of the Lion's Rock. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast included was delicious. Most importantly, our host, Lala, was excellent — he gave good recommendations and helped us with our itinerary from booking a safari tour to arranging our transportation. Thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him too! Highly recommend Lion Wood Treehouse!

Everything was just perfect from the arrival till the departure. The room is nice, super clean. You are living with the family and from the beginning you feel very welcomed...The place is very quiet and there is a beautiful view from the terase. And the breakfast? Super delicious and made with love :) Everything is homemade, fresh...ahhh I miss it so much :) The whole family is sooo helpful, friendly and nice. I hope I will be back soon :)

The room was clean and comfortable, the people were very friendly and helpful. We didn't see many bugs considering that we were in the jungle. Our stay was very pleasant, the breakfast was very good.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.

If you like nature that is a place you MUST go. The host is extremely kind and honest, he has his own tuk tuk and can take you around any time you need, he also organized a transfer from Colombo in a good car with a friendly and helpful driver. The nature around the room is awesome. Best stay in Sri Lanka by far

The view from our room/balcony was amazing. Ravi Is were so friendly, welcome drink on arrival was appreciated. They provided helpful advice and information and always available. The Garden And View was great to cool down after a morning hike. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. Location was fantastic. Highly recommend!
