Beautiful hotel in Aswan, clean modern rooms, walking distance to center and market, top of hill with nice view over Nile and sunset. Breakfast very good.

The location is near the Nubian Museum, and we can have a great view of the city and the Nile River. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially, we would like to thank the manager, Mariam and the receptionist, Carlos. They made their best efforts to provide excellent service for the guests, and we really appreciate their great service. The breakfast in the executive club is limited but good enough. They also provided a breakfast box when we left early morning. The hotel provided a free sunset boat trip. It's a big boat with an air conditioner. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Nile River. The drlink is not free, but reasonable price.

Every single second of our stay was admirable but I will try to conclude it in points 1. Very very very quiet place to have some peaceful moments for your soul 2. Nature evey where especially that the guest house is built in a nature preserve so you would see a lot of creatures in there nature 3 . Staaaffff what a great group of people they were very friendly very helpful and very kind to top all of that 4 . Mr. Nasser which is a great person ,helpful ,kind and smile bringer 5. Owner of the guest house Mr . Waleed is very kind and very helpful man ( he helped me puying some top quality spices and brought me a boat cruise for a very good price ) 6. Lamiaa the receptionist with the great smile kind attitude and warm welcoming 7. Mohammed and Mahmoud of the buffet they are the best 8. Top quality of food the chef was 👌 9. Amazing room space and cleanliness and one of the most amazing room views I have ever had Over all it was an experience that would never be forgotten with evey detail of it and actually I stayed there for 7 nights but I didn't want to leave at the end of the reservation that's how I was attached to the place

We loved the quiet tempo of life, no request was too big or too small and they really tried to accommodate us. There were lovely boat transfers to/from Aswan town! The rooms were very comfortable with a nice a/c! Other reviews said there were no towels, but we had towels, so that wasn’t an issue for us! It was our favorite place we stayed in Egypt. You can hike the Sahara sand dune behind the chalet at sunrise and see a stunning view over the Nile. They also sorted out a fellouca ride for us which was so lovely and definitely a highlight!! It’s not a 5-star hotel, so be ready for a little rustic living with some quirks, but the friendliness of the staff and the quiet from the town was absolutely worth it!

What I liked about Awi Guest House was the personal touch and warm hospitality. The owner, Awi, went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome—he even came to pick us up by boat, which was such a unique and special touch. Awi is not only friendly but genuinely cares about his guests, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The village was beautiful and fun to explore, with friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. Awi’s service was top-notch, and the breakfast he served each morning was delicious and fulfilling. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Awi truly made our stay memorable with his kindness and hospitality. The sunrise and sunset across the Nile River were absolutely stunning, adding a magical touch to the entire experience at Awi Guest House.

We absolutely loved the peaceful and quiet location and the gorgeous view especially on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast or shay on the terrace was incredible. The service was warm and hospitable. We got answers to all our tourism questions and appreciated the assistance to arrange our early morning airport transfer.

Everything! Location, history, fabulous rooms, great pool, nice spa, and staff went beyond their duties in helpfulness and kindness, especially Fariouz in reception. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and other dining options as well. Best hotel I have ever stayed in. 😀

The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need: fridge, AC, hot-water shower, and a TV. The location is amazing, right on the Nile with a beautiful rooftop to relax on. What truly makes this place special is the owner, Mustafa, and his wife. They make you feel genuinely welcome from the very first moment. Their breakfast is delicious and fairly priced, and you must go on a sunset felucca ride with Mustafa, it’s an unforgettable experience. He also offers motorboat tours; we didn’t have time to try them, which just gives us a good excuse to come back. He can even help arrange your Abu Simbel trip or any other transportation at a very fair price. This spot is a little corner of paradise in beautiful Aswan. Don’t stay in the busy city, come straight to Elephantine Island. You’ll find peace, kindness, and a true escape from the traffic and noise of Egypt.

What a great property to experience the Nubian culture and people! Everybody that we met was very friendly and open to us. Our host also arranged for and was our guide from and to the Nile, the private boat, experience a couple of Nubian villages as well as a real (not a tourist) Nubian restaurant. Great tour and at what we call *real* prices, not inflated tourist prices.
