I love staying at the Doña Lola. I now stay here whenever I visit Lucena. The rooms/Suites are very comfortable and spacious. The decor is lovely and there are all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area so if you need to know where to go or what there is to do, just ask. The location is the best. It is right in the city center so mostly everything you need is within walking distance. So many restaurants, cafes and bars close by along with plenty of shopping in the area. Before discovering the Doña Lola, I stayed at a couple other hotels in Lucena, although they were adequate, they don’t come close. If there was a score higher than 100%, they would deserve it!

Great location. Lovely clean room with access to a patio. Marie Jose was very welcoming and friendly. She shared some pictures and videos of the Camino Mozarabe hiking trail. Breakfast was great with fresh OJ, tomato purée, bread, ham and coffee

What a brilliant find! This is an outstanding family-run hotel. Everything about the stay was perfect. All the staff were kind and welcoming, the room was large and beautiful with great air conditioning and wifi, spotlessly clean. The restaurant is excellent value with freshly cooked local dishes and friendly service. The area is quiet and I enjoyed a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed. The parking is secure in a covered basement. I have stayed in many hotels in Spain, most of which were far more expensive than this one and nowhere near as good.

Convenient location to road. Access to a great little restaurant next door and Javier and especially Antonio were top shelf. Antonio noticed I was working on my motorcycle. He arranged for me to see a mechanic. On his way home in the morning he actually lead me to the mechanic shop.
