Used to go right through Deal from Whitsable to Walmer and back again. Didn't realize how much there is to do. Best day out was the 2 mile walk along the sea front from Deal castle to Walmer castle where you can see Wellingtons boots and the room he died in.

This is a traditional English hotel that completely met my expectations. They provided a room and food for a special reception that I hosted, and that went very well. The staff were super.

Close to Dreamland for a concert. On a very hot day, the room with air-conditioning was a necessity. Staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for a parking spot (extra pay) and this was a luxury in the busy Margate.

Located in Margate and with The Bay Beach reachable within a few steps, Fort Road Hotel has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar.

Beautifully appointed and super spacious room. Was upgraded to a sea view room, which was absolutely delightful. Breakfast was a nice spread of options and coffee with larger dishes for purchase, I was fine with what was provided. Convenient to have a restaurant on site for a late bite or glass of wine before turning in. Staff were all super helpful. Can walk everywhere in town from here.

Gresham features air-conditioned rooms in Kent. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.
