The Courtyard by Marriott was in an excellent location for our visit to the Brick Lane Music Hall.
We were greeted warmly by the reception staff who helped with directions too.
The room was excellent, spacious & spotless & we would certainly go back there

I like that it is within walking distance of the EXCel London, so for any convention visitors it is a 10-15min walk to the Prince Albert station.
A delight is being able to come back and relax at the bar or to supply yourself with drinks and snacks at the bar 24/7 as there is not shop in the vicinity at all.

Set in East London’s Docklands, City is great for accessing the heart of London quickly and easily. Close to Canary Wharf, it’s just 7 miles (11 kilometres) from the City of London’s financial hub. The frequent DLR (Docklands Light Railway) connects the airport to Bank Station in about 25 minutes, and runs from around 05:30 until just before 00:00. The apartment is spacious for 2 people, the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was not very clean, there was no toilet paper, and it was a strong smell of mold. One of the sliding doors of the cupboard is broken, so one can not benefit from the full space inside it, but it was not a problem for us, for such a short stay. The bathroom was very cold, the heating system is not very efficient in the bathroom and kitchen, but very good for the rest. The kitchen and bathroom would benefit from refurbishing and some updating. The cooker is old and quite dirty and there is no microwave. Also, there were no towels, so if you plan to rent this kind of accommodation consider bringing your own. There was no lining for the couch in the living room, so if you bring extra people, consider bringing that too.

I had an extremely disappointing experience.
I had an extremely disappointing experience. The host completely stood me up on the day of my booking. I called several times, but my calls were repeatedly rejected. I also sent messages and emails, but received no response whatsoever.
With no way to access the apartment or contact the host, I had to urgently book another place to stay at my own expense.
This was one of the worst hosting experiences I've ever had. The complete lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend this host to anyone.

The room was adequate with 2 beds, as requested. Very accommodating and helpful with parking information upon arrival. The bathroom looked clean and nice, and I was delighted to use it until I turned on the shower, where the water flow did not reach my body. I could not reach the shower head to change the direction of flow to rinse off the soap had to do a strip wash instead. This was not acceptable, as I was travelling that day and would not be able to use another hotel's facilities for 24+ hours.
Other than that, the room was clean, and the wifi was on point

A wonderful, fun setup for a small group!
A wonderful, fun setup for a small group! The loft conversion is a really neat space (just mind your head!). We happened to visit during an unprecedented London heatwave, which made the upper room quite hot at night, but otherwise, it was a great base for our trip. Would recommend!

Staying near the train station you're near lots of food and convenience shops which are great especially staying in a place you're not familiar with. I love that I can get more than one line from the train station so easy to commute. Ate at a lovely Turkish restaurant which also serves breakfast. Plus lots of cafes to suite your budget.

I found barking very convenient for traveling into London.the station is right on the high street and it's a short journey into the city.the prices in barking are a lot cheaper than London too and there's plenty of shops and cafes in barking to keep you entertained. All in all I would recommend staying in barking especially if your on a budget.the dreams hotel is cheap and good. Which is only bout 2 mins from train station.plus there's a place at 76 longbridge road where you can stay.lovely ensuite rooms with a shared kitchen which is always clean and tidy.its on the high street bout 3 mins walk to train station.
