"London was amazing. It was our first time there, and we had no issues using the subway system. Since the Underground is very easy to use, you could stay farther from the main tourist areas and still get around easily. The London Eye is highly recommended, along with doing a river cruise on the River Thames. We also visited Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, which was amazing, as well as Sherlock Holmes Museum on Baker Street. There are many beautiful large parks throughout the city with lakes, swans, ducks, and lots of green space. We were there for five days, but I honestly wish we had one extra day. We also visited several museums, which were excellent."

"They have a bar in the lobby with a lunch/dinner menu. Was a bit skeptical at first, but let me tell you....the food was delicious! We had the chicken sandwich with chips and it was out of this world! Definitely recommend the bar menu. They also have a restaurant but we didn't eat there."

"Croydon is ugly, full of high rise buildings and little greenery in the centre. Visiting Lloyd Park, the litter was disgusting in the Children's play area although the 'country' areas of the park are beautiful. We always enjoy Box Park but there wasn't time to discover how lockdown has affected the town centre on this short trip. The advantage to staying here is how easy it is to get into central London by train or to Gatwick."

"I'd want to live there if I moved to London! There's a lovely long river walk (both banks) with restaurants on the Richmond side (I recommend the Gaucho and its patio). Also the very big Richmond Park, and I very much regret I did not have time to explore it. Unfortunately it's right under the approach path to Heathrow, so better get used to huge jets coming in overhead. Kew Gardens is in Richmond, and I spent a whole day there."

Hotel was lovely though, and the breakfast the best we’ve had from then other hotels we’ve s stayed in in different areas during this Uk visit. Having said that, there are loads of fabulous shops and wonderful restaurants in Bromley. We went to Paloma’s restaurant which had a lovely ambience and delicious food."

The city completely exceeded all my expectations.

The city completely exceeded all my expectations. Experiencing everything we’ve watched in movies and learned about since childhood felt like a fairytale. The first look at the city after leaving the station literally brought tears to my eyes. We had no issues at all. the city is massive and the landmarks are amazing. There’s so much to see and most museums are mostly free, although you need to book ahead. Getting around by the underground and transit overall was very easy and I highly recommend visiting!

Nice to have a hotel located right at the airport for an overnight layover. It is, however, a bit of a long and winding walk from Terminal 5. Our stay was so short we can’t say much more than the staff were courteous, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. That counts for a lot.

Harrow is a great area to stay in, especially if you’re looking for somewhere convenient and lively. There are plenty of shopping options nearby, including supermarkets and a nice mall within about 5 minutes, which makes it really easy to pick up groceries or anything you need. The area feels vibrant and well-connected, with excellent transport links. The Metropolitan line makes it easy to travel into central London as well as to places like Wembley and Heathrow. Overall, Harrow is a very practical and enjoyable location, with a good mix of convenience, accessibility, and local amenities.

West Ealing is more of a quite family living area.

West Ealing is more of a quite family living area. No stores or restaurants close to the spot. We were about 10-15 minutes walk from the subway station. Around the station there are some small coffee shops and the groceries store is near. We used to do our groceries shop in one station before (Ealing Broadway, while our station was West Ealing). Ealing Broadway has it all, like the small town itself. We took the bus E7 to get directly home from there. It is very close when you use the transport.
