We had a great stay in Crown Hotel. The room was very quiet as we requested and very clean! The breakfast met the expectation and the staff was really helpful from the beginning.

Great things come in small packages. This small one bedroom flat is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a cozy couple. The host reached out 48 outs prior to welcome us and included detailed instructions. Designated off street parking. Fully equipped kitchen and starter set for coffee and tea. Comfortable bed. Short walk into the historic town. Beautiful views of the Park (Stray) across the street. Very nice Waitrose just around the corner as well as Cook! for prepared meals. The beautiful bathroom is quite compact so be aware that a plus-size person might not be comfortable.

Superb property in a high end location. Attention to detail in the property was greatly received but the 4 of us staying there. Excellent communication flow from the owner(s) prior to arrival,throughout the stay and post departure.

Loved sitting on the cobblestone square outside the pub enjoying a beer in the sunshine, across from a beautiful churchyard and adjacent to the castle. We had possibly the best roast dinner ever in the restaurant on Sunday evening, and glad we booked the table ahead of time. Rooms were across the road in a lovely stone property - they were spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. Large, light and clean bathroom, though the shower was on the small side.

The most beautifully appointed accommodation that we've stayed in. Very comfortable bed, fabulous shower, and so many treats left for us to eat by the hosts. We had the warmest welcome from everyone there, and delicious, locally sourced breakfast was served at a time of your choice. A lovely garden and surroundings with lots to visit.

The friendly staffs were present and available for any assistance needed. It appears the property was recently renovated, so everything is updated. Attention to details in all areas. Breakfast menu is extensive and food was tasty. Very large and comfortable living room area. The bedroom is spacious. Very good location, close to train station, town center and a lot of attractions.

It is a gem of a place. Perfect for an overnight enroute to Castle Howard.
